It never cease to amaze me what I can find at used clothing stores (kedai bundle). I was recently in Kuala Kubu Bharu when I chance upon this kedai bundle. I was driving pass when I say the shop with packs hanging on the wall. Me and my passion for packs, did a detour to the shop…despite my other half already fuming over the fact that we were already late for an appointment.

Wow…this is a genuine made in UK Karrimor Hot Earth backpack that I bought off a bundle seller in KL recently. The pack I reckon is about 40 to 45 liters, in good condition and is definitelly a collectors item especially among the hard core Karrimor fan in Malaysia.

I was at Kuala Pilah when I spotted this outdoor brand Columbia down jacket. It is in such a good condition that I decided to buy and try to re-sell it.

This is the great thing about bundle. One will never guess what one will find. That is exactly why my wife got into it. Its not like walking into a shop with a list of what to buy. With bundle clothing, one walks into it usually with a rough idea, wether its going to be a shirt or a pants and very often they walk away with a gem.

This is a fine example. This Columbia brand jacket is suple and soft. Unlike the syntethic fillings, the feather fillings make it so comfortable and soft. I manage to bargain a bit. The seller was reluctant to reduce the price much. I doubt if it is due to the brand. I had a feeling it’s more due to the soft and comfy feeling of the jacket.

Ahh…Kavu. In the bundle scene in Malaysia, the Kavu brand caps are among one of the most sought after items. The brand essentially makes outdoor clothing. I have a few Kavu caps but this is one of my only clothing piece. Oh…and of course, its 100% bundle.

I recently found this The North Face (TNF) shirt at a bundle shop in Segamat. By no means am I able to wear it but I thought it is a nice shirt. The brand of course appealed to me the most. It’s a Men’s M size.

I bought this shirt for RM15. Will probably sell it to one of my mates who is very into outdoor sports brands. TNF somehow has a fanatical following in Malaysia. It is one of the items that has risen from nobody to something that is much sought after. So, every time I chance by a TNF item and if it doesn’t cost too much, I will probably buy and resell it to one of my mates…for an additional couple of ringgits for my efforts of course

This Columbia pants is really made tough

I finally found one of my favorite pants. It is a Columbia brand denim pants which I got from a recycle clothing store down in Perth some years ago. I remembered having a ball buying all these outdoor brand names through recycle clothing stores in Perth back down.

This is a vintage The North Face (TNF) brand brief case I have kept and almost forgotten completely. My mom brought it to me recently when she found it wrapped in a plastic bag along with some odl bedsheets etc. I have no clue how it got there.

Well, I bought it from a market in Thailand many years ago during a vacation. I remembered it to be quite expensive and at the time, I just had to spend the money to buy the briefcase as it was at the height of my TNF craze. Why do I say its a vintage? Its damn old and it is made in the US. These days, Made in USA TNF products are really hard to come by.

Have a look at the pics below and you will know what I mean.

This pre-loved Helly Hansen wind breaker jacket is also for sale. I remember buying this jacket during one of my road trips to Terrengganu on the way to Lake Kenyir. Helly Hansen if not mistaken is a sailing product range but has adopted to many other outdoor products as well. I purchased this particular jacket because the condition is still very good and the brand is still relatively new.

I am offering this Helly Hansen jacket at the price of RM25. Add RM5 for shipping (poslaju) to anywhere in Peninsula Malaysia.

This jacket is a size L and is just a single layer. All teh zippers are in good working condition without rips or tears.

The Columbia Omnitech jacket from bundle

The Columbia Omnitech jacket from bundle

I think it is time that I sell off some of my baju bundle ‘outdoor clothing’ that I have accumulated over the years. They have not seen any actions for some time and with new plans in the family happening, its best to start clearing some of my bundle collection.

Here is a Columbia jacket I have up for anyone who is interested to buy it. The jacket is of the Omnitech range of material. Omnitech is supposed to be Columbia’s version of breathable synthetic material. This jacket is obviously waterproof. All the stitched areas are taped from the inside.

With all honestly, I can’t remember where I got this jacket. In any case, it is still in very good condition, no tears or rips. All the zippers seems to be working find. This jacket however, is missing the inside layer. It is supposed to have that inner ‘layer’, normally a piece of fleece jacket to give that extra warmth. But rarely can one find a complete piece (both the shell and the inner piece) from bundle.

My opening price? RM60, add another RM5 for shipping anywhere within peninsula Malaysia.
The size of this Columbia Omnitech jacket by the way is a Men’s ‘S’
